Hot Wheels Designs

We’re stoked to see the Hot Wheels website (fun site for kids BTW) using some of the art we designed in the style guides we created for them on their website for wallpapers. You can get them here.

Background  graffiti / urban image. Note the flaming building and Hot Wheels logo moon. If you don’t know, the “68″ was thrown down because that is the year Hot Wheels started.

The flaming wings in the background and the icon in the middle were part of a family of icons we created by abstracting the Hot Wheels logo flame shape. The Asian type behind the car was also a Kustom typeface we created.

Random “Speed” lines and textures to make cars look fast. Again, part of a family of art we made for licensees to use in exactly this manner.

As in the previous image this is more background imagery and a Kustom font design used to create a setting and mood for the cars.

Also found this Super Slammers package with the logo we did a couple of years back. Stoked the line is still rockin’
